

Marshall was born and raised in Winder, Georgia. This is the place that he wanted to forever call his home. He was a graduate of Winder-Barrow High School in 2009 and a later graduate of Lanier Technical College with a degree in Automotive Mechanics. One of his biggest interests was sports. He loved skateboarding ever since middle school, and he was very involved in competitive cheerleading for 7 years. Additionally, he loved to watch football and basketball, being an avid fan of the Clemson Tigers. His family will best remember him as a man that was friendly to everybody and had an amazing outgoing personality in which he never met a stranger.
Marshall was a member of the Winder First United Methodist Church, in which he was very involved with the youth group. He was an active member in middle and high school, and has been chaperoning the youth's summer mission trips for the past 9 years.
Marshall is preceded in death by his grandparents; Homer and Reathel Allison of Winder and James and Dale Hagin of Madison.
Marshall is survived by his loving parents; Jay and Amy Allison Hagin of Winder; brother, Brad Hagin of Winder; and a host of extended aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.
A graveside service to honor the life of Marshall Hagin, which will be open to the public, will be held on Friday, April 10, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at Barrow Memorial Gardens with Pastor Todd McCain officiating. Burial will follow the graveside service. The family will be receiving friends on Thursday evening, April 9, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home. Per the guidelines of the CDC and the State of Georgia's Governors office, only 10 visitors will be allowed in the building at a time.
