Mrs. Dial was the daughter of the late Benjamin Lee Green and Fleddie Adams Green of Sulacauga, AL. She was a former member of Pleasant Hill Methodist Church. Mildred loved word find puzzles, watching game shows and reading – especially the Bible.
Mrs. Dial is predeceased by her husband Henry Dial, daughters: Mary Dial and Betty Dial; brothers: Luther Green, Jack Green, and Frank Green, and sisters: Mary Green and Sula Green; and one grandchild.
She is survived by sons: Henry (Barbara) Dial of Sylacauga, AL, Alvin Dial of Louisiana, and Johnny (Bernedette) Dial of Louisiana; daughters: Ruby Sherrill of Childersburg, AL and Teresa Ortiz of Braselton, GA; eleven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and a brother Rex Green of Sylacauga, AL.
Funeral services will be held in Smith Memory Chapel in Winder on Sunday, October 31, 2021 at 2:00 pm. A visitation for family and friends will be at Smith Funeral Home from noon until 2:00 pm on Sunday prior to the service. Interment will follow at Barrow Memorial Gardens.
