Born in Statham, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Belle Sims Perkins. She was a member of Winder First Christian Church. Mrs. O’Kelley was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Buck” O’Kelly.
Survivors include sons and daughter-in-law, Richard and Deb O’Kelly, Buford, and Bob O’Kelly, Bethlehem; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a sister, Jean Kittle, Statham.
The family will receive friends Thursday, June 21, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home. The family has requested memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 1684 Barnett Shoals Rd., Athens, GA 30605.
