Olin Grimes Conn, 83 of Winder, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2025. He was of the Baptist faith and a member and a deacon at Morningside Baptist Church in Winder. Olin retired from Advance Electronics as an office machine repairman. Olin loved his church and enjoyed serving in any capacity the church needed. In his spare time Olin loved collecting Civil War memorabilia.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy and Louise Conn; two sons, Matthew Conn and Eddie Henderson; and a daughter, Tammy Henderson. Olin is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Marie Fine Conn of Winder; a son, Johnny Conn (Amy) of Lula; daughters, Lisa Copp (Kevin) of Dawsonville, Denise (Lee) of Cartersville and Tracie McArthur of Lula; his brother, Bobby Conn (Diane) of Walnut Grove; 19 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held Monday, March 17, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Smith Memory Chapel, Winder, GA, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM. Olin will be laid to rest in Rose Hill Cemetery, Winder, GA.
