Patsy Dudley Elrod, age 70, of Auburn, GA, passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2013. She retired from Durden Enterprise as a human resource manager and was a member at Harmony Grove United Methodist Church, Auburn. Patsy was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Lamar Elrod; her parents, Flaudie C. and Birdie Ethridge Dudley; a brother, Bobby Dudley; a sister, Shirley Spence; and several nieces and nephews. She is survived by her son, Thomas (fiancé Mary LeJeune) of Auburn; her daughter, Connie (Johnny) Herrin of Cornelia, GA; a brother, Bill Dudley of Williamson, GA; a sister, Betty Williamson of Lake Burton, GA; and a grandson, Johnathon Herrin of Cornelia. Visitation will be held Saturday, March 23, 2013 at Smith Funeral Home, Winder, GA, from 5-8:00 pm. The funeral service will be held Sunday, March 24, 2013 at 4:00 pm in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home with Reverend Joseph Romigh officiating. The interment will follow the service in Barrow Memorial Gardens, Winder. Smith Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
