Rachel Farlow

Rachel Farlow, age 88, of Ellijay, GA, passed away Saturday, September 7, 2013. She was a faithful member of Corinth United Methodist Church in Winder and attended both Winder and Ellijay First United Methodist Church. Rachel was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Edward Farlow; and her parents, Jobe William and Bunnie Jane Smith Thomas. Survivors include her son, Phillip (Cynthia) Farlow of Douglasville, GA; her daughter, Patti (Jim) White of Ellijay; three grandchildren, Ginger James, Rebecca Daniell, and Cathy Farlow; and three great-grandchildren, Lydia James, Vincent James, and Kirsten Daniell. The family will receive friends from 5-8:00 p.m. on Monday, September 9, 2013 at Smith Funeral Home, Winder. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. with Dr. Danny Barton officiating. The burial will follow the service at the Corinth United Methodist Church Cemetery, Winder.
