Sylvia Jean Chandler

She was a member of Midway United Methodist Church in Auburn. She was also a member of The Order of The Eastern Star, Winder Chapter 336. She loved her family and she enjoyed baking, shopping, fishing, animals, and watching the Atlanta Braves.

Mrs. Chandler was predeceased by her parents, Robert Lewis Pitchford and Ethel Lee Lomax Pitchford; her husband Dewey Hobson "Hop" Chandler, Jr.; her son David Jetson Chandler; and siblings: Mary Lou Anderson, Larene Anderson, Flora Mae Christy, and Clarence Pitchford.

She is survived by her son, Dan Chandler and his wife Verly Chandler of Lynn Haven, FL; and grandchildren: Jeff Kaspar, Krystal Powell, and David Chandler.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Appalachee Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Martin and Rev. Mark Wheeler officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be held at Smith Funeral Home, 755 Atlanta Hwy SE, Winder, on Friday, July 15 between 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm.
