

Mr. Otto was a devoted husband, son, and brother. He will be best remembered as a kind, caring, and friendly man who was simply wonderful all around. Tim had a fond passion for Jazz music and loved going to concerts. The Beatles and various classical bands were his favorite. Tim was an avid movie collector and a fan of the Atlanta Braves Baseball team. He was a member of the Winder First United Methodist Church.
Mr. Otto is preceded in death by his father, Mr. John W. Otto.
Mr. Otto is survived by his wife, Mrs. Marilia Mourao Otto of Winder; loving mother, Josephine A. Otto of Winder; brother, Steve Otto of Winder whom he shared a special bond with; sister, Debbie (Mike) Brock of Winder; and two nephews, Brandon and Ryan Brock.
The family will be receiving friends on Saturday, February 1, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., two hours prior to the service at Smith Funeral Home.
The funeral service to honor and celebrate the life of Mr. Tim Otto will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2020 in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home with Reverend Calvin Haney officiating. Burial will follow the service at Barrow Memorial Gardens.
Following the graveside service, a reception will be held at 4:00 p.m. at the Winder First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall.
The family has respectfully requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in memory of Mr. Otto to the Winder First United Methodist Church.
Smith Funeral Home, Winder, is entrusted with the arrangements for Mr. Tim Otto.
