In addition to her parents she is predeceased by her husband, Dewey "John" Norman Gilreath; sister, Marvine Rider Wanamaker; and brothers in law: James "Bud" Gilreath and Jimmy Gilreath.
Verba is survived by her brother, Larry Rider (Donna) of Winder, GA; sister, Arlene Rider Barrett (Eugene) of Dahlonega, GA; sisters in law and brothers in law: Brenda Jones (James) of Bethlehem, GA, Inez Gilreath of Winder, GA, and Evelyn Gilreath of Bethlehem, GA; and several nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, July 22, 2025 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Smith Funeral Home, 755 Atlanta Hwy SE, Winder, GA. The funeral service will be Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at 11:00 AM in Smith Memory Chapel with her burial to follow at Barrow Memorial Gardens, 755 Atlanta Hwy SE, Winder, GA 30680.
