The news of Carrie's passing was very sad to hear. She was far too young to lose her precious life. 

I went to high school with Carrie and spend most of my time with her in stitches, laughing endlessly.  Carrie was a sweet friend and she impressed me in the way that she always made time for people; she was thoroughly sincere.  

I will remember Carrie, in my mind's eye, smiling and dancing with her BH kilt swinging around her and at the cottage, in the sun, with her awesome tan, that I was always envious of!  :)            

Carrie stands as a beautiful example of a life lived with a full heart.  My deepest sympathy to Chris, Derek and Carrie's extended family.

Wow...I am so so sad...  I spent some of the best years of my youth with Carrie at my side... at the cottage for year after year in the summer...we danced in the boat to Prince... and Madonna!!  We talked and talked and dreamed and dreamed...as young girls do...and all the years together at BH...  She always made me smile and laugh... eating chips and drinking coke!  She is truly gone far far to early....  my heartfelt condolences to you

Chrisl and Derek:  All our sympathies go out to you.   I was shocked to hear of Carrie's passing and so deeply saddened.  We had spent hours talking about eating toast fried in bacon grease and all the zany stories teenage girls amass.  Your precious daughter had the ability to bring a smile to everyone who met her.  She will be sadly missed.  Sending you all our love and prayers during this very difficult time.  Karen (Keene), Michael, Caleigh and Liam Patrick.

Christl and Derek so sorry to hear of Carrie's passing.  My heart goes out to you both.  I really enjoyed the fun times with Carrie as children in your home in North Kildonan.
