In addition to his daily curriculum of teaching, Peter was also the most dependable and diversified teacher on my after school staff. Such a pleasant and wonderful person to be around. I had Peter as a teacher at JPPS about 4 years ago. He was fun and understanding and made our classes more than just gym. He was an amazing teacher. I know everyone, not only me will miss him so much.

I'am a childhood friend......I know u as "Taki". I was deeply saddened to hear about his passing and only found out Aug 22/10. Although many years have passed, you were always a kind, caring, loving person and as i read your guestbook it seems your "warm heart" was known to all your friends and family. To Liza, my mother always spoke highly of you and praised all your efforts in raising a wonderful son. I worked with Peter only briefly on cruise ships, but liked him immediately, and it was clear that everyone who knew him better than me felt the same way. Aug 21, I'm just finding out now that Peter has passed. I'm shocked!! He was a really good man and him and I would always share a laugh and have some conversation at the gym or over a beer with friends.Peter was always the type of person that I would introduce to anyone because he had a kind heart and was easy to like. There are no words that can console other than he had and always will have my greatest respect, he was what you want people to be like in the world!! Kind, generous,patient,graceous. I feel your loss greatly!!

Eventhough I did not get to know Peter as well as I would have liked due to the age difference, all the same, I loved him as family. Peter was an amazing person, son and role model. It is with great sadness that I write about my friend Pete. Pete was one of the kindest people I ever met, and his life was spent helping others. He was a remarkable person, and an amazing friend. I was lucky to have met him when he first started university in Montreal, and we remained friends ever since. The person he was proudest of was his mom, who he always talked about with such affection and admiration. My deepest condolences to her, Pete's family and all of his friends; we will all miss him very much. May the pain that we are all feeling now be quickly replaced by the many, many happy moments that we shared with Pete.

I only met Peter a couple of times, but it was always a pleasure. I remember him always with a big smile and kind words. I am shocked and saddened and offer my condolences to his family and friends.

When I moved to Montreal back in 2003, I didn't know a soul.  The second day I was there, I heard a voice call my name from a cafe.  It was my old friend Peter from our home town.  I was fortunate to have know Peter from both the Windsor days and in Montreal.  He introduced me to some great people and life long friends.
