Delphine Meeke

Delphine Meeke, age 91 passed away peacefully on January 3rd, 2023, with her family surrounding her. Predeceased by her loving husband William "Bill" (2013). Loving mother to Laura Jo "Jody" and William "Billy". Wonderful grandmother to Ian (Rachel) and Sarah (Anthony). Predeceased by her brother Art and her sister Laura (Tony). Survived by sister-in-law Helen, many nieces, nephews and loved ones. Dell was born and raised in Dearborn, Michigan and came to Windsor in 1954. She worked for Sears Windsor for over 20 years until she retired in 1988. Throughout her years she volunteered as an usher at the Fox Theatre and the Detroit Opera House where she would share many plays, concerts, and Broadway musicals with her family. She was a woman with great fashion, was filled with positivity and resilience. She loved to celebrate all holidays, birthdays, and special occasions. Her love for laughter and adventure brought her a beautiful life filled with cherished memories with her family and friends. Cremation has taken place and a private family ceremony will be held at a later date.
