Derek Dave Soulliere

Derek enjoyed life's pleasures, great and small: progressive metal music, video games, craft beer, black coffee, dark and absurd humour, camping, cycling, weightlifting, intellectual debates, karaoke, doing impressions, generally being a human encyclopedia and technological wizard, playing with his son, and so very often spending time with friends and family. Always one to offer a helping hand with a big smile, Derek’s presence will be immeasurably missed.

Derek is survived by his beloved son Julian Soulliere, parents Michael and Connie Soulliere, Grandfather Nelson Soulliere, Siblings Ashley Soulliere (Dean), Taylor Mallen, Robert McIntyre (Angie), John McIntyre (Kaleigh), Kyle McIntyre, Ashley McIntyre, nieces and nephews, and family. Derek will also be very dearly missed by Crystal Janisse, Julian's mother Currie Bednarick, and a great many friends.

Predeceased by mother Pamela Matthews, grandmothers Margaret Soulliere and Sharon Ward, and Grandfather Peter Puddicombe.

Derek's service will take place at Anderson funeral home located at 895 Ouellette Ave in Windsor, on Friday July 7th. Visitation will be held from 12:00pm-3:00pm followed by the 3:00pm service. Afterwards, we invite friends and family to accompany us for dinner and refreshments at the Ciociaro Club, located at 3745 N Talbot Rd, Oldcastle.
