Mr. Edward Charles Urquhart Jr.

Loving son of the late Edward (1989) and Mary Joanne (2001). Beloved brother of Brian (Linda), Darlene (Tony) Lawrence, Wayne (Wanda), Darcy (Emerita), Martin (Gail), Lynne Ford (Shawn) and Elizabeth (Sean) Lalonde. Dearest Uncle of Chuck (Patty), Katie (Eric), Andrew (Lindsay), Jennifer (John), Michael, Monica (Simon), Corinne, Jennessa (Jeremy), Jason, Stephanie, and Korey. Proud great uncle to Rowan, Stella, Makenna, Cael, and Tyler Edward. Best friend to Terry Hannan, John Porter and Don Dennis.

Edward was an avid sports enthusiast, who enjoyed playing both baseball and golf and a diehard Toronto Maple Leafs fan. He was a valued employee of Transit Windsor who drove Employee Casino Shuttle buses for the past fourteen years and will be sadly missed by his many co-workers and casino employees. Many thanks to the dedicated health professionals who cared for Edward during his illness and for the kindness afforded to Edward and his family during his stay at Hospice of Windsor. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to Hospice Residence Village or the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre.

Visitation will take place at Walter D Kelly Funeral Home, 1969 Wyandotte St. W. on Wednesday, February 17th from 7-9 p.m. and on Thursday, February 18th from 2-4:30 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Prayers at 4:30 p.m. Visitation will also take place at St. John Vianney Church, 385 Dieppe Street, Friday, February 19 from 10:00 a.m. -10:45 a.m. Liturgy of Farewell (Eulogy) will begin at 10:45 a.m. followed by the Mass of Resurrection at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow.
