Erma Irene Slote

Born March 24, 1921 in Alberton, P.E.I. Passed away peacefully with family by her side on March 5, 2010 at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Earl Slote(1995). Loving mother of Marlene, Kevin and Wayne. Dearest grandmother of Danielle, Dale, Jason, Nicole, Sonja and great grandmother of James & Kieran. Dear sister of Georgie Campbell and Marie Pridham. Erma was much loved by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and their families. Predeceased by her parents Rebecca and Theodore Lewis and by her eldest sister, Ruby Spears (1998). Erma was a kind and loving mother, grandmother and sister. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her. Words cannot express our sadness at her loss. Our family takes great strength and comfort knowing that our mother was a born-again Christian and that she is now in the presence of her Lord & Saviour, Jesus Christ. Thank you to the staff of 6 West, ICU, and 8 East at HDGH, Dr. Kupeyan, Rev. Joyce Jardine and Major Violet Chaulk of Pastoral Services for all their care and many acts of kindness. Visitation will be held at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 895 Ouellette Avenue (519) 254-3223 on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Services will be held in the Anderson Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at 11:30 a.m., officiated by Rev.
