Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on Thursday May 15, 2014 at 87 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Cameron (1977) for 30 years. Dear and loving Mother of Connie Smith (Rob), the late Bonnie Lynn (1993) and Larry. Sister of Shirley Paterson (Jack), Gilbert Mulligan (Sis). Predeceased by brothers Gord, Cecil, Bernard and sister Jean Iftinuk. Cherished Grandma of Jodi Ward (Knowler), Darren Smith, Jenn Jovanovski (Deni), Jacqui LaMarre, Lindsay and Courtney Knowler. Also 9 great grandchildren. Will be sadly missed by sister-in-law Norma Knowler and daughter-in-law Mary Knowler. Dearest friend of Ed Rivait. Ethel worked at Hoffman Big V for 25 years and was a loyal member of Women of the Moose lodge for over 50 years. Resting at the Walter D. Kelly Life Celebration Centre from 2-4 & 7-9 pm on Tuesday. Celebration of Life will take place in the chapel on Wednesday May 21, 2014 at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gradens. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Hospice, or to Brentwood Recovery Home.
