

December 4th, 1932 – March 11th, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Eva, surrounded by her family on Wednesday, March 11th, 2026 at the age of 93. Predeceased by her beloved spouse Pavel Topolski (2021), her cherished daughter Verona (Jano) Kovac (2005), and dear brother Jano Duricek. Devoted mother to Zlatko (Robyn) Topolski. Proud mamika to Miluska, Nancy, Dennis, Natalie, and great mamika to Cassandra, Anthony, and Madison. Loving sister to Anna (Dragan) Manojlovic and Maria (Vid) Todic. Loving daughter to Jano and Emilija Duricek. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Mamika and Dedo loved entertaining and pleasing their family and friends by cooking traditional foods and hosting gatherings. Mamika enjoyed her hobbies of knitting, gardening, and travelling with her husband. Eva’s Slovak heritage was important to her, passing down traditions and recipes to her family. She will be greatly missed, but her memory will be forever cherished by her family and friends.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Windsor Regional Hospital – Met Campus Nurses, Doctors, and staff of 6th floor, also the Homecare providers for the compassionate care shown to Eva.

Visitation will be held at Anderson Funeral Home (895 Ouellette Ave.) 519-969-5841 on Sunday, March 15th, 2026, from 2-5pm. Visitation will continue on Monday, March 16th, 2026, from 10:30am until time of funeral service at 11am. Burial to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens (1100 Division Rd.).
