Geoffrey Hayman

Passed away peacefully at the Strathroy Hospital on Sunday, April 22, 2012, in his 89th year. Geoffrey, loving husband to Joanne (McLoughry)(1986) for 40 years, and the late Francis Bailey. He will be sorely missed by his children Paul, Rick (Barb Yeo), Joy Theaker (Ron); Cathy Winters (Rick), Gwyn, Laurie Driedger (Albert); his grandchildren Jennifer Metituk (Dave), Adam Theaker (Elizabeth),Bryan Theaker (Amanda), Chris Winters (Natalie), Nick Winters (Sarah),Ben Driedger (Tanis), Abby Leach (Tom), Daniel Driedger; and his great-grandchildren Emily Metituk, Geoffrey Metituk, Charlie Theaker and Liam Theaker. Geoff was also blessed with four stepdaughters, Sue Bailey, Janet Ludwig, Aileen Bailey and Sylvia Bailey. He is predeceased by his father and mother Albert and Helena Hayman, his brothers Ted, Archie, Arthur (Red), and his sisters Joyce and Gwyneth. Geoff was a wonderful father, Windsor’s finest police officer and a dedicated scouter. The family will receive friends at the WALTER D. KELLY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE , 1969 Wyandotte Street East, Windsor, on Saturday, April 28th,2012 from 12 to 2 pm. A Memorial Service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00pm. Interment to take place at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
