Georgette Donaldson

83 years young. Passed away suddenly on Friday April 8. Loving wife of Norman J. Donaldson.

Wonderful mother of Gloria (Fasan) Weathers and husband Bill Weathers, Beverly Thornton and John Welch, Cynthia Knowler and Mike Knowler. Pre-deceased by son-in-law Jean Guy Labrecque, her brothers Robert, and Leo, and her sisters Helen and Germaine.

Loving Grandmother of Brent Thornton (pre-deceased), Lisa (Thornton) Francia and Jae Hou, Tanya Thornton, Kelly (Thornton) Bornais and Bill Bornais, Christopher Fasan, Micheal Fasan, Patrick Fasan, Tamara (Baron) Leeming and Mike Leeming, Karilyn Knowler, Kenny Knowler.

Survived by eight Great Grandchildren: Taylor Francia, Ethan Thornton, Jared Bornais, Emily Bornais, Daytona Oglesby, Micheal Oglesby, Winston Leeming, Sasha Stoiljkovic. Also survived by her brother Gerald Boissonneault and many neices and nephews.

Georgette was a former member of Rose City Travellers RV Club, Twins Seas Caravan and NCHA (National Camping & Hiking Association). She loved to travel on cruises and go RVing. Georgette was the center of the family, which she made the most important part of our lives. She always cooked a big Sunday dinner, so anyone who stopped by was welcomed with a good meal. She loved to bake, paint, and make crafts. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all.

Visitation will be held at Anderson Funeral Home, 895 Ouellette Avenue, Windsor, Ontario on Tuesday April 12, 2011 from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 p.m. Funeral services will held on Wednesday April13, 2011 at 11 a.m. in the Anderson Funeral Home Memorial Chapel.
