Joseph Charles O'Brien

76 years. Passed away on December 16, 2010 at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital. Beloved husband, dearest friend and constant companion to Sally. Loving father to Dr Colleen O'Brien-Wood of Toronto. Devoted Papa to Cailey. Predeceased by his sister Isabelle (1982) and her husband John (1985) Glendon; his brother James O'Brien (1997) and his sister Theresa Guillemain (2006). Dear brother-in-law to Nina O'Brien and Gordon Guillemain. Also survived by several nieces and nephews but "Uncle Joe" to many. Joseph retired from General Chemical in 1998 after 44 1/2 years of service. He was an active member at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church where he served in many positions. Visitation will be held at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 895 Ouellette Avenue (519-254-3223) on Saturday from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. Prayers Sunday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. Joseph will then rest at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 4401 Mount Royal Drive on Monday, December 20, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
