83 years. Lane passed away peacefully with her children by her side at Windsor Regional Hospital Ouellette Campus. Devoted wife for 58 years of the late Chee Jong Jean (2020). Beloved mother of Henry Jean (Maxine), Shelley Jean-LaForge (Charles), Harry Jean (Laura), and Jo An Booth (Sean). Loving Ma Ma and Poa Poa of Jackson, Daniel, Caleb, Grace, Victoria and Cullen. Dear sister of Sui Fu and wife Pauline, sister-in-law of Sandra and aunt of Clarrie and Carmen. Predeceased by her parents Kong Hon and Kam Chu and her brother Sui Man. Lane loved to spend time with friends having coffee, sharing a meal, and playing Mah Jong. Lane will be remembered for her devotion to her family. Nothing made her happier than to cook and share a meal with her children. Whether it was prepared at home with every ingredient carefully picked out or gathering all together to enjoy a meal prepared in a restaurant. If we were together, she was content. A kind and generous woman to anyone who crossed her path. Special thanks to the Floor 3 staff at Berkshire Care Centre for taking care of our mother for the last 2.5 years and to the amazing Floor 4 nurses at Windsor Regional Hospital Ouellette Campus who ensured her final days were carried out respectfully and with dignity. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Windsor Essex or the Heart and Stroke Foundation (Windsor office) would be appreciated by the family. Visitation will take place Sunday, October 23rd, from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 895 Ouellette Avenue (519) 254-3223. A private family interment will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Please join us in remembering Lane by visiting our memorial at andersonfuneralhomewindsor.com
