Passed away peacefully on June 5th, 2015 at Metropolitan Hospital in Windsor. Leona was born June 13th, 1930 in Northridge, Ontario to the late Oscar and Mary-Ellen McClintic. Dearest wife of Peter Remdenok of 63 years. Loving mother to Randy (Sandy), Ricky (Sue) and Robert. Dear Grandmother to Andrew. Leona is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers Harry, Jim, and John McClintic as well as her sisters Alice Gardner, June Craver and Marion Coe. Leona loved spending time with her family and playing cards. Special thanks to Judy and Sue and the staff on the 8th floor of Metropolitan Hospital. Visitation will be held at the Anderson Funeral Home and Cremation Centre (895 Ouellette Ave. 519-254-3223)on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Complete Funeral Service will take place in the chapel on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at 11:00 am with Rev. Olav Kitchen officiating. Cremation to follow.
