Passed away peacefully on October 29, 2014 at the age of 91. Predeceased by her husband Wilbert (1988) and longtime friend John Sorrell (2008). Loving mother of Rick (Alberta), Leslie & Clive Bowser (Windsor), and Joy & Bill Russell (Sauble Beach). She will be fondly remembered by 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandson, and many nieces and nephews. Also by dear friend Noreen Weir. Lil was a long time member of St. David’s Anglican Church, Royal Canadian Legion branch#594 and the Windsor Banjos. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at the Walter D. Kelly Life Celebration Centre on Friday, October 31, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Visiting will continue on Saturday, November 1, 2014 from 10:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Donations in memory of Lillian may be made to St. David’s Anglican Church Memorial Fund or to the Hospice of Windsor.
