Maria Peragine

Born January 12, 1924 in Bari Italy and passed away March 19, 2012 surrounded by her loving family at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Vincenzo Peragine. Loving mother of Francesca and Jimmy Pipitone of Windsor; Anna and Rino Aiello of Windsor; Chris and Mike Sternbauer of St. Mary’s; Mike and Donna Peragine of Windsor; and Dominic and Deanna Peragine of Windsor. Dear grandmother to Tania and Ralph Lepera; Ezio and Lucy Pipitone; Tony and Gloria Aiello; Vince and Tania Aiello; Frank and Myram Aiello, Jennifer, Nicole, Vince, Shay-Lynn, and step-grandmother to Christina, Peter, Mathew, Krystal, and Tanya. Great-grandmother to Brittany Lane Lepera, Ross James Lepera, Bria Pipitone, Siana Francesca Pipitone, Brant Aiello, Anthony, John, Marianna, Nicholas, Alyssa, and Krista.Great-great-grandmother to Stella Mia Lepera. Dear sister to Rocco and Gianna Zingaro of Windsor; the late Giuseppe and his wife Domenica Zingaro; Michele and Ninetta Zingaro; the late Vito Zingaro, Rosetta and the late Antonio Colantonio; and the late Giovanni and his wife Guiseppina Zingaro all of Italy. Maria was a former member of the Sister of Mount Carmel. Visitation will be held at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 895 Ouellette Avenue (519) 254-3223 on Thursday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. with prayers a 4:30 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Angela Merici Catholic Church, 980 Louis Avenue (at Erie) on Friday March 23, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. Entombment Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
