Peacefully on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at Banwell Gardens in her 96th year. Beloved wife of 70 years to the late Stewart Carter (2015). Mom to Penny Taylor (Richard) and Pam Cruickshank (Shawn Ganney). Loving grandmother to Kelly-Anne Nichol (Mark), Marnie Taylor (Gary Dixon), Cameron Cruickshank and Matthew Cruickshank (Carol). Great grandma to Joshua, Jocilyn Young, Caden, Caitlin, Haley, Jacob and Madison Cruickshank. Nancy was a member of Westminster United Church. She was also a life member of the Historic Vehicle Society of Ontario. Nancy enjoyed cards, reading mystery books, and playing Rummoli with her lady friends. Gardening was another hobby. She will be sadly missed by her friends, family and her beloved cat Amy. Visitation will be held at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 895 Ouellette Ave. (519) 254-3223 on Friday from 5-8 p.m. Funeral Services will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
