Marie Madeline Winch

Mrs. Marie Winch passed away peacefully and comfortably with Scotty and Lynn singing "Jesus loves me" and reading scripture at her bedside, at Fiddick's Nursing Home, Petrolia on May 15, 2017. Born December 22, 1916, she was a proud Centarian. She was predeceased by her husband Leonard Stanley Winch. Marie is survived by Doug (Lynn), Ken (Jenifer-April 7, 2017) Gord (Carrie): grandchildren Darcy (April), Travis (Sylvia), Scotty and Blair (Megan), Sarah and David.; great grandchildren Carter, Brody, Carley and Emery. Marie was retired from C.H Smith Department Store after many years of service. She was a dedicated member of Boy Scouts of Canada and won many awards for her service. She was also a faithful and hard working member of St. Aidan's Anglican Church in Windsor. She was awarded the 1996 Windsor Good Neighbor Award. Celebration of life will be held at St. Aidan's Anglican Church 3033 Rivard Ave. N8T 2J1 in Windsor On. Friday June 16, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. with a reception and interment to follow In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Aidan's Anglican Church. St Joseph's Hospice in Sarnia On, The Canadian Cancer Society, or the charity of your choice. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to Walter D Kelly Life Celebration Centre, Windsor On.
