Survived by his loving companion Patricia Bergeron, her children and grandchildren, 40 year friends Wayne and Kathy Laliberte, niece Karen Laliberte (Dave), brother-in-law Gerry Laliberte (the late Beverley, 2016). Predeceased by his parents Jean and Colin Bannon and canine friend Murphy.
Mike was proud of his Irish heritage, a kind extremely generous person, animal lover, retired GM employee, and had a great sense of humour. He enjoyed the Toronto Maple Leafs and Detroit Tigers. He endured a lengthy illness while being cared for by the kind and devoted staff at Extendicare Tecumseh, and phenomenal care by the staff at Windsor Regional Hospital Met Campus during his final days. Special thanks to Dr. S. Mehta at Ouellette Campus for your care and kindness over the past five years.
Interment of ashes will take place at a future date. As a token of love and remembrance, be kind to one another.
