Dear Melissa and Seger Family, we were shocked and saddened by the news of Nathan's sudden departure. I got to know Nathan from a distance when I had the privilege of being Melissa's Grade 4 teacher, and as I watched him grow as a classmate in my daughter Emily's class. Words alone cannot remove the sorrow you surely must be feeling, but hopefully they can provide a little comfort, knowing that Nathan touched so many lives in a positive way during his short visit on Earth.

Seger family, my thoughts and prayers are with you today. I truly enjoyed working with Nathan at the Community Kitchen when I was the on-call teacher one day a week.  He will be missed.
