89 years. Passed away at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital on Friday, April 12, 2013. Beloved husband of 60 ½ years to Anka. Dear father of Mitzi Pohanka & her husband Mike, Violet Towell & her husband Earl, all of London, and George Konjevic of Calgary, Alta. Loving grandfather of Nathan Pohanka & his wife Meggan, Megan Pohanka & her partner Kevan, Leah Towell & her partner Kes and Jessie Towell. Dear great grandfather of Ada. Nikola will be sadly missed by his sister Mica Konjevic of Serbia, his brother-in-law Bude & his family, sister-in-law Milka & her family and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his siblings Djuro, Vuka, Ljuba and Ljepa. Nikola was very active in his church, a Mason, an artist, writer and lifelong learner. Visitation will be held at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 895 Ouellette Avenue (519) 254-3223 on Monday from 7-9 p.m. with Prayers at 7:30 p.m. Friends are asked to gather at St. Dimitrije Serbian Orthodox Church, 2690 Seminole St. on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 from 10:30 a.m. until the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Interment Windsor Memorial Gardens.
