62 years. Passed away Saturday, January 7, 2012 at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital. Beloved husband of Irene. Dear father of Paul J. Hawkins Jr. and Tracy of Essex, Dawn-Marie Hawkins & Chad of Windsor. Loving grandfather of Daytona Hawkins, Elizabeth Hawkins-Lemire and Thomas Hawkins. Dear brother of Sheila Bennett and Carol Shaw. Predeceased by his parents, Arthur (1988) & Florence (1984) and his brother Robert (1949). Paul was an avid bowler for many years in the Centennial Mixed and Saturday Night Mixed Leagues at Rose Bowl Lanes. He was a proud member of the Teamsters Local # 879, working for McKinlay Transport for 18 years before moving to TST Overland in 2001. Visitation will be held at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 895 Ouellette Avenue on Tuesday from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the Anderson Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. Bishop Jack Peck officiating. Interment Victoria Memorial Gardens. If desired, memorial donations made to the Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
