It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Pauline Aimee Gauthier at the age of 81. Born in Kirkland Lake, Ont. May 2, 1935, passed away Oct. 15, 2016. Survived by her beloved husband Stan of 63 years. Married in Sault St Marie Oct. 7, 1953. Reunited with her parents Adolphis & Malvina LaRue and sister Barb Mouret. A loving and devoted mother of Rick and (the late Eva) MacWilliams; Val & (Bill) Lucier; David Gauthier; Marsha and (the late Marv) Chomyshyn; and Ted Gauthier. Proud Grandmother of 14 and cherished great Grandmother of 19. She was an avid cook like her father before her. She worked hard even as a cancer survivor. At her request there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service for friends and family to celebrate the life of Pauline will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens on Fri Oct 21, at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to Hotel Dieu Grace, Tayfour Campus or Heart & Stroke with appreciation of the family.
