81 years. Passed peacefully on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 in her home in Windsor surrounded by loving family and friends. Rose grew up in Detroit, moved to Windsor with her husband and children in 1968 and proudly became a Canadian citizen. She was a dedicated member of the British Methodist Episcopal (BME) Church in Windsor. Rose was pre-deceased by her husband Alvin and brother James Davis Carter. She will be fondly remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, mother-in-law, sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and dear friend. Visitation will be held at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 895 Ouellette Avenue, (519) 254-3223 on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Family Hour will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 from 10-11 a.m., followed by the Funeral Service in the Anderson Chapel.
