As a child, Jim was both a good protector and jokester of his siblings. He attended Dougall Elementary School, Patterson Collegiate and W. D. Lowe. Jim was a hard worker, being efficient at whatever he did. He began his employment working at Union Gas with his dad, and later Sartori Construction, Cliffside (BFC), Superintendent at Aecon and working for A.E. Belmont until his retirement. He was able to enjoy working with his son daily, just as he did with his father. He enjoyed NASCAR and watching races at whatever track he could get to. He also loved football, especially the Baltimore Ravens. Above all, he loved his family dearly and attended every event possible, loving every moment he could be with them. No matter the time, he was always available to help family and friends. His thoughtful nature was expressed in his actions to everyone. He will be remembered for his sparkling blue eyes, his selflessness and kindness. If you so desire, donations to Hotel Dieu Health Care-Palliative Unit would be appreciated by the family.
