Violet 'Vi' Cochois

nee Moore, 77 years peacefully with family by her side on May 1, 2012. Reunited with her beloved husband of 51 years, Louie (2007). Loving mother of Tom Cochois, Elaine & Phil White, Lisa Robertson, and Karen (1957). Dear grandmother of Karen, Nicole, Ashley, Raechel, Brian, Austin, Cole and Christopher (1980). Dear great grandmother of Lily, Julia, Blaze, Gavin, Laila and Nathan. Dear daughter of the late Collin and Matilda Moore. Loving sister of Gladys, Mae, Betty, Bill, and Diane. Predeceased by her siblings Colleen, Don, Margaret and Jack. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Vi enjoyed a 50-year career as an employee and then manager of The Windsor Drive-In, Odeon Theatre and Forest Glade Cinemas. She never thought of it as work and considered her co-workers as an extension of her family. Her love for her family, friends, The Toronto Blue Jays, and Bingo was second to none. For years, Vi was lovingly cared for, and the family supported, by her niece, Lynn McLaren. For that, the family is deeply grateful. Her family will receive visitors at the Walter D. Kelly Funeral Home (1969 Wyandotte St. E, Windsor 519-252-5711) on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 from 7-9pm and Thursday, May 3, 2012 from 2-5pm and 7-9pm where the funeral service will take place on Friday, May 4th, 2012 at 10:30am.
