Walter James Caplin passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Hotel Dieu Grace Healthcare Palliative Care on Friday, February 2, 2018. He is survived by his wife Marilyn Janisse, two children Matt Caplin (Gerri) and Colleen Caplin (Sue) and two step-children Pamela McPherson and Michael Janisse. Loving grandfather to Shamus, Grady and Finn. Predeceased by his parents Melville and Doris Marie Caplin. Brother of Marilyn (late William) Alexander of Ottawa, Nancy (late John) Burrows of St Clair Shores, MI and Tom Caplin of Lakeshore. Walter was retired from Chrysler Canada and spent six decades playing in the Windsor Men’s Fastball League. Special thanks goes out to Dr Aoun and the staff on the at the HDGH Palliative Care unit for their care. At Walter’s request, cremation has already taken place.
