

Aaron Ray Urrutia, 30, of Winnemucca, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2011 in Winnemucca. He was born November 30, 1980 in Reno, Nevada to Teresa L. Urrutia and Steven G. Urrutia. Aaron grew up in Lovelock, Winnemucca and Battle Mountain, attending schools in Lovelock and Winnemucca. He married Pamela Hobbs and they have two children, Daimon and Tesa.
Aaron worked in construction and mining and was employed at Hycroft at the time of his death. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and his ATV’s. He was an avid outdoorsman. He also enjoyed playing video games, family gatherings and anything and everything with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Pam Urrutia; children, Daimon and Tesa Urrutia; his parents, Steven G. Urrutia and Teresa L. Urrutia; a brother, Daniel Urrutia; a sister, Stella (Eli) DeBois of Washington; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ernest and Del Urrutia; maternal grandparents, Paul and Lois Mundt and his grandparents-in-law, Nephi and Kathren Hobbs.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday, April 29, 2011 at Albertson Funeral Home in Winnemucca. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 30, 2011 at the Exhibit Hall of the Winnemucca Events Complex. Burial will take place at the Winnemucca Cemetery, immediately following the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Aaron Urrutia Family through Nevada State Bank to help the family.
The family would like to thank the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office, the Winnemucca Police Department and everyone else who helped in the search for Aaron.
