

Adoracion leaves behind to cherish her memory her beloved husband, Rolando Yorobe; her children, Maria Rhea Watson (Kelly), Rhello Yorobe, and Sherra Yorobe (Steve Brez); her grandchildren, Cheyenne Phillips (Marshall), Mason Watson, Abel Brez, and Nia Brez; and her great-grandchildren, Emerson, Noah, and Quinn. She is also lovingly remembered by her siblings, Angelito Aytona (Cleotilde), Evangaline Rodriguez (Adriano), Luzviminda Schweighoffer, Yolanda Conti (Nestor), Rodrigo Aytona (Luzviminda), Edna Aytona Austman (Robert), and Nimpha Sutherland (Glenn), as well as 18 nieces and nephews, extended family, and many friends.
She was predeceased by her father, Aurelio Aytona; her mother, Irenea Aytona; her brother, Nelson Aytona; her mother-in-law, Socorro Yorobe; her father-in-law, Francisco Yorobe; and her sister-in-law, Mariel Yorobe Yap.
Adoracion Yorobe was born on January 7, 1946, in Balayan, Batangas. At the age of 18, she was crowned a Batangas beauty pageant queen, reflecting the grace and presence she carried throughout her life. In the Philippines, she worked as an office staff member for Senator Aytona. She immigrated to Canada in the winter of 1974 and began building a new life there.
In Canada, Adoracion worked at Arm Industries in Brandon, Manitoba, supporting individuals with special needs by helping teach functional living skills. She later worked at the Brandon Public Library as a library assistant. Committed to learning, she earned her certification as a Library Technician from Assiniboine Community College.
Adoracion had a strong entrepreneurial spirit. In 1978, she opened Yorobe’s Infants, a shop that offered items for juveniles and infants. She also operated a window covering business specializing in blinds and curtains. She retired in 2001, but in retirement remained active and opened a business called Pop Art. In her work and business ventures, she was known for efficiency, professionalism, and integrity.
A devoted member of the Roman Catholic Church, her faith guided her life. She will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and unwavering dedication to her family, work, and community. Above all, Adoracion cherished her family and will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.
There will be a private ceremony for family on April 16, 2026 at 2:00pm.
