Angeline Margaret Gallop

Passed away peacefully on November 26, 2016 in her 91st year.

She is survived by her children: Linda (Gerry) Mason, Roy (Luisa) Gallop, Laurie Davis, Kenny Gallop, Connie (Ken) Garbe, Bonnie (Brent) Witherspoon, Ron Gallop and Sherry (Wayne) Epp.

She was the proud grandmother of many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Angie is predeceased by her husband Robert “Bob” Gallop; parents Alphonso and Ramona Rogers; siblings Joseph Rogers, Rose Binnie, Mary Stern, Terry Lalonde, Frank Rogers, Paul Rogers and Edith Davey.

Angie was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, the seventh of eight children.

She married Bob on February 23, 1946. They were married until Bob’s death in 1992.

Angie worked at Deer Lodge Center for 25 years.

She was a proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Ladies Auxiliary for many years.

Angie loved gatherings of family and friends. She enjoyed doing crafts, playing darts, shuffleboard, cards, and board games. Angie loved dogs and was a proud owner of many over the years. Angie had a positive attitude and never got down with her declining health over the years.

Cremation has taken place with a private family service and interment taking place at a later date.

The family would like to send our sincere thanks to the staff of Riverview Health Centre for their excellent care and compassion shown to Angie during her residency there.
