

Antonio Jose Inacio, 67, of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, passed away on March 2nd, 2022 peacefully.
Antonio was born in Sao Miguel, Azores. He came to Winnipeg in 1982, he met his soulmate Nelia the same year. He has stayed connected to his portuguese community in Winnipeg. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus in the church community in Winnipeg. His passion was soccer which he played and was a referee back home. He continued his passion playing soccer as a player and referee in Winnipeg. He loved going to the community centre to play cards and attend the church parades. he worked at Cadorath Planting Ltd in Winnipeg for most of his life. He also loved to play soccer with his grandkids at the park and to go for walks. In his spare time he loved spending time with his family, watching game shows, soccer and sports on tv. He also enjoyed gardening.
He was a kind, loving husband to his spouse Nelia. They have been together for 40 years and did everything together, he called her the love of his life. He had always wanted children and considered himself lucky enough to have two. One of his biggest accomplishments is his children who he loved dearly (Jennifer and Kevin), they called their dad a superhero, and even as adults, still see him that way. He was always there for them through their ups and downs, and taught them to enjoy every moment life has to offer. He was a very hardworking man with a contagious smile and a heart of gold. He loved to tell jokes, there was never a dull moment being around him , there was always laughter wherever he went, he was a bright light. He was very generous, he would give his shirt of his back, he was always willing to help people in need, and this is exactly how he choose to live his life.
Aside from being survived by his wife Nelia, and children , Jennifer and Kevin (Wendy), Antonio also leaves behind his four grandchildren, Jessica, Hailey, Jordan and Saint. As well as his sisters Natalia (Gilberto) , Maria Dos Anjos (Antonio deceased) his brothers Carlos, Joao (Natalia), Mario Jorge (Zenaide), Mother in law Eduarda (Daciel deceased) and brother in law Val, sisters in law, Maria(Carlos), Natalie(Claude deceased) and numerous nieces and nephews. Antonio is reunited in heaven with his parents, Jose and Matilda.

The family would especially like to thank Fr: Maurice Comeault and the staff of Thomson In The Park Funeral Home And Cemetery. The family held a private funeral last weekend March 6th 2022.
