Arthur Maurice Nagel

On Sunday evening, May 8, 2022, at Fred Douglas Lodge, Art passed away at the age of 87 years. He will be missed and remembered by his sister Pat McGuffin & family, three sons, Rory (Betty), Ryan and Ricky (Jeanette), granddaughters, Angela Wickman (Andrew), Amanda (Codey) and Carly, his great grandchildren, Tyson & Abigail Wickman, Shaylee, Drayden & Jayce, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and neighbours. Art is now reunited with his parents, Mollie and Maurice, his wife Henrietta and his two sons, Randy and Reece. In his younger days, Art enjoyed spending time with his family and friends at Nutimik Lake Campground and the Transit Cabin at Eleanor Lake in the Whiteshell. Art was a hard worker his whole life. He retired after 33 and a half years as a supervisor for the City of Winnipeg Transit. In his later years, Art enjoyed family stopping by for visits, always having tea and cookies on hand to share. He was always interested in how you were and what you were up to. A special thank you to the staff on the Elm Unit at Fred Douglas Lodge, for the care and compassion shown to dad. Honouring Art's request, cremation and a private family gathering has taken place. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to Fred Douglas Lodge.
