After a brief stint in the Army and several years in Regina he returned to Winnipeg with his young family to join and later co-owned Parsons Plumbing & Heating until he retired. He very much enjoyed the executive positions held within the Ft Rouge Soccer Club where lifelong friendships were formed with the players and administrators of the club. He deeply loved all of his children and grand children and was particularly proud in his role as primary care giver for his wife Johanne.
A private ceremony for the family will be held at Thompsons “In the Park” Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd, Winnipeg.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association, Suite 200 - 310 Broadway Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6
