

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Beryl Maud Taylor on June 1, 2021 in Winnipeg, MB. Beryl was born on November 21, 1931 in Morant Bay, St Thomas Jamaica and immigrated to Canada in 1965.
She leaves behind to grieve her husband of 53 years, Samuel; her seven children Marcia, step-son Errol, Delroy, Sharon, Paul, Debbie and Donna; Grandchildren Markus, Christopher, Shaun, Jermaine, Natasha, Chantel, Alex, Niko, Cole, Nicholas, Trinity, Destiny and Bishop; Great-grandchildren Jada, Mesha, Quinn, Kai, Kingston, Rhea, Jaxon, Melot, Eisley, Everleigh and Elaya; her sister Pearl McCalla and family in Jamaica.
She is predeceased by her parents Ivan and Lillian Williams; siblings Faudel Williams and Ivy Page; her step-son Derrick Taylor; her daughter Reverend Deacon Lorna Howell.
Beryl’s faith was a constant in her life and she was a long-time member of St Matthews Anglican Church. Although she was a private person, she enjoyed being part of the many ministries in the church. Her priority was always her family and she ensured that she was aware of everything happening in their lives. She also gave to many charities such as the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada and the Wildlife Society.
Beryl touched so many lives in so many ways. Before retirement Beryl worked in health care and dedicated her life to helping others. She will be remembered for her loving nature, her devotion to her family, her humor and her warm, loving and caring ways.
A private memorial service will be held on June 22, 2021 at Klassen Funeral Home followed by
Interment to take place at Glen Lawn Cemetery.
Memorial donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to a charity of choice.
