

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 56 years, Lydia Jensen; sons Carl (Nickie) and David (Mary); grandchildren Mathew (Leanne), Erin, Christopher (April), Blair, Trista, and Kirstie (Josh); and great-grandchildren Myles, Zoey, Dean and Kale.
He is also survived by his sister Doris Robbins and Sister-in-law Genevieve Jensen.
Carl was predeceased by his beloved son Howard Scott Jensen, brother Harold Jensen and parents Carl and Blanche.
Carl was born in Turner Valley, Alberta. He served in the Canadian Navy for five years. He resided in Thompson, Manitoba from 1959-2008 where he was employed with INCO as a miner for 32 years, retiring in 1991. Carl and Lydia moved to Sanford, Manitoba in 2008.
Carl was a kind, loving, and gentle man who always put his family first. He was a hard worker who took pride in a job well done. He always had a glint in his eye and a cheeky grin.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, October 28 at 2:00 pm at Thomson “In the Park” Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard.
