Cecilia Ekemma (nee Maduike) Onyebuchi

It is with heavy hearts and deep gratitude for her life, we announce the passing of our cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, Cecilia Ekemma Onyebuchi, who left this world peacefully on December 1st, 2025, surrounded by love.

Born on May 9th, 1950, Cecilia lived her life with grace, quiet strength, and an unwavering devotion to her family and faith. She loved the church, finding comfort and purpose in her relationship with God, and she carried that faith into every part of her life - through her kindness, her patience, and the compassion she showed to everyone around her.

Celcilia was preceded in death by her beloved son Kingsley, whom she held close in her heart every day. She is lovingly remembered by her son Christian and his wife Mandy, who will forever cherish her guidance, her prayers, and the gentle love she poured into their home.

She was a proud and devoted grandmother. Cecilia's heart swelled with joy for her grandchildren and great grandchildren: Tineesha, and her daughters Stella and Zenley; her grandsons Joshua, Keenan, and Montana; and her granddaughter Samantha. Each of them brought her immeasurable happiness, and she loved them with all that she had. Her presence in their lives was a gift - felt in her warm hugs, her thoughtful words, and her unwavering belief in each of them.

To her siblings, extended family, and all who knew her, Cecilia was a steady light. She had a way of making people feel understood and cared for, simply by being herself. She created a sense of home wherever she went.

Though our hearts ache with her loss, we take comfort in knowing that she has been reunited with her beloved son and is resting now in the peace she so richly deserves. Her legacy of love, faith, and resilience will continue to live on in the generations she leaves behind.

May her gentle soul rest in eternal peace.
