Chander and I worked together during the summer of 1973.  I thought he was wonderful, witty and kind.  He was a great teammate.  The decades moved us off in different directions, and only now, from Saskatoon, ten years after  his passing, I've just learned of it.  Unlikely that anyone will read these words now but I send a sad and sincere greeting to Chander's loved ones.

Chander was a neighbor and friend, in fact,he was the first person I met when I moved into my condo. We spent many weekends together - shopping at Barney's and having great meals. Very indulgent times. He adored his dogs ~ all of them ~ and was an incredibly generous friend.  
Life changed as did we. We reconnected when he moved back to LA and I am still in shock that he is no longer with us.  I miss him, his distinct voice, humor and all that was 
Chander.  I miss him. 

He loved his family and friends deeply.

I knew of Chander long before I ever had the pleasure of working with him. Everyone who knew him spoke so highly of him, both as a person and professional. When I finally had the chance to work with him and got to know him, I can honestly say that he was a pleasure to be around and to work with. His passing was such a loss and my heart and prayers go out to his family. I count myself as lucky to have been his friend and occassional confidant. His warmth and kindness will be missed.

I did not know Chander for very long but he was such a fun and loving person. He also had an enormous heart for his dogs and his family. I am deeply shocked and saddened by his passing. Chander and his family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Chander was the dear friend of my youth and even though I haven't seen him for years I have often thought of him and wondered 'what if?'.  He had charm and style and wit and  and courage and deep sensitivity as well as deep silliness.  His friendship and dancing ability  helped me survive grad school and the agony of the the first job.  My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Chander and I worked together many years ago and formed a lasting friendship. He was a generous, fun-loving person and a kind soul.  I will miss him.  My condolences to those closest to him.

Ida Marie and I were reminiscing about Chander and wondering what had become of him only last week. Chander was a gentle person who knew how to have fun.  We all took dance classes together for a number of years.  Really, it was an excuse to go out afterwards and eat and laugh.
He remained a part of my life even after Ida Marie left Winnipeg.  We enjoyed many spontaneous evenings together.  And then we lost touch.  But he wasn't forgotten.
I am so sorry for your loss.  I was away and unable to get back on time for the funeral.

Chander was always a warm and caring person. I had the pleasure of knowing and loving him for over 4 years. While we had our ups and down. There will always be a place in my heart for him. I will miss him greatly. My condolences to all of his family.

I was deeply shocked and saddened to learn of Chander's untimely passing. We met many years ago when we worked together at the youth hostel at the old Fort Garry Motel on Pembina Highway and were friends throughout university. We lost contact when I left Winnipeg to pursue my university studies. However, I remember the many laughs we had, his megawatt smile, and how well he always spoke of Tony, Ricky and Rita and of his parents. My deepest condolences on your loss.

Chander and I worked together for almost 10 years.  He was a valued business associate but more importantly a good friend.  I will miss his cheerful dispostion.  My heart and prayers go out to the family.
