It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Edith Lilischkies on June 22, 2012 at the age of 78 years with her daughter by her side.
She will be lovingly remembered by her son Gerald, daughter Angela (Bruce) , granddaughter Tessa and grandson Myles.
Edith was predeceased by her husband Gerhard of 54 years.
Edith was born in Kaupchen , Lithuania and came to Canada from Miltenberg, Germany at the age of 18 in February 1953.
A celebration of Edith’s life will be held on July 4, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Klassen Funeral Home, 1897 Henderson Hwy.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba 6 Donald Street Winnipeg, Manitoba R3L 0K6.
