JANUARY 24, 1927 – APRIL 14, 2011
Edward passed away peacefully with his wife and daughter by his side.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Kathleen, his daughters Kathleen (Frank), Susannah, Jill Edie (Grant), Elizabeth (Shane), his granddaughters, Michelle, Jackie, Alexis, Jenessa, Jennifer, Morgan, his grandsons, Jason, Ryan, Christopher, Cameron, Zachary and Edward. He is also survived by his brother Ron and nephew Jim in Thunder Bay. Edward was predeceased by his mother, Ethel Doughty, his stepfather, Fred Doughty and tragically his only son Edward Harvey Jr. in March 2009.
The family, on behalf of Ed, would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Armstrong and the nurses of Seven Oaks Dialysis Unit and 3rd Floor Geriatrics for their excellent care and compassion.
Cremation has taken place. A private service will be held this summer for family and close friends.
