Eva Bertha Barton

The Barton family is heartbroken to announce the passing of our beloved mother who died peacefully with family by her side on October 5, 2024, 22 days before her 97th birthday. Left to mourn her passing and cherish her memory are; her brother Bob (Barb-deceased), her brother-in-law Jim (Shirley-deceased), her children Alexandra (Louis, Bert), Leslie, Robert, Bruce (Nancy-deceased, Ma Lei), Kathryn (Brian), Douglas (Anne) and Patricia (Fred), 14 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her beloved husband Phil, and her sisters Elsie (Ken, Andy) and Shirley.

The family sincerely thanks the wonderful staff of Lodge 2E at Deer Lodge Center who so kindly cared for Mom during her final three months of life. We will be forever grateful for the time you spent with her and the patience you showed her in her more difficult moments.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life for Mom next summer, her favourite season of the year.
