NOVEMBER 21, 1916 ~ MAY 22, 2012
Peacefully on the morning of May 22, 2012, Eva passed on at Tuxedo Villa at the age of 95 years.
Left to forever cherish Eva’s memory are two daughters, Carol (Barrie), Julie (Paul), son Cameron, grandchildren, Ryan, Nicole (Drew), Joel, Marcus, Laura, Stephanie and Emily. She will also be remembered by her many nieces, nephews and friends.
Eva married the love of her life, (Elmer) in 1943, and was predeceased by him in 2009. She was also predeceased by her parents, brothers Donald, Gordon, Lawrence, infant brothers William and Arthur, and most recently her beloved sister, Bertha.
Eva was loved as a daughter, teacher, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother and friend.
The family would like to thank the staff at Tuxedo Villa for their wonderful care and compassion over the last three years, especially the nursing staff Shawna, Lana, Lee-Ann, Leonora, Karen, Felicita, June and the many others that were involved with her care.
A private family celebration of Eva’s life will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, CancerCare, or a charity of their choice.
