She leaves to mourn her son Dale (Sandra), grandsons Roger and Mark, nephews Ron Riches and David (Betty) Riches, and Darrell Riches and nieces Janet (Bill) Bullen of Ontario, Janice Jones of Brandon, Marlene (Tom) Carson of Alberta and their extended families.
Georgina is predeceased by husband Claude and her brother Sid and wife Isabel.
Georgina was born in Crandall, Mb., moved to Isabella where she attended school, to Shilo after marriage and then to Winnipeg. Gena liked music, handicrafts, curling, skating, bowling, sewing, cooking and baking cakes, cookies and dainties of any kind which she shared with family and friends. Gena enjoyed her time spent at Lindenwood Manor.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, January 12, 2018 at Thomson “In the Park” Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard.
